Howard Sapper
Executive Director
Mr. Sapper is a veteran executive of the music industry with extensive experience with brain therapy and related issues. Mr. Sapper has been the CEO of Global Pacific Records, The Harmony Festival, and Extrordinaire Media, taking these companies from start-up to success. Mr. Sapper, the father of a daughter who suffered a stroke at birth, was initially drawn to the mission of Everybody Is A Star because of the amazing impact that music and art has had on her life . Since that time he has devoted over two decades towards research in brain therapy, medicine, and alternative treatments and the role of art, music and theatre as a therapeutic tool.
Peter McEvilley
Creative Director
Peter McEvilley is an award winning filmmaker and music producer who lives in Los Angeles. He was the recipient of a Corbett Mayerson Award for classical music performance. His music has been featured in hundreds of network television shows, and he has written custom music for numerous films, including: Deuce Bigalow, European Gigolo, House Bunny, Just Go With It, Trick, and Last Vegas. His album “Filters” was #3 on the iTunes music charts and spent four weeks on the college music charts. He currently has a feature film in development and recently completed writing and directing four shorts for Ellen DeGeneres’ pet food company, Halo.
Jessica Montgomery
Development and Operations
Ms. Montgomery is a graduate of University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics. She has a background in Marketing, Sales and Administration. In addition she has many years of experience working with children. She has been working with and advocating for her own young son as he overcomes his own occupational and speech developmental delays.
Ms. Montgomery is also drawn to the mission of Everybody Is A Star due to her connection with Eva Sapper over the years and the Sapper Family. She sees first-hand how life changing and empowering these videos and opportunities can be. She is constantly inspired by the young adults they work with and is committed to breaking down the barriers and growing Everybody is A Star so that Special Needs youth everywhere can have access.
Patrick Cruz
Live Show Director
Patrick has devoted much of the past 25 years to helping non-profit organizations in operations and fundraising. As a counselor, administrator, entrepreneur, and consultant, he also brings experience in devising and implementing national distribution and social media strategies, developing partnerships and working with collegiate and professional sports. His experience as a trained singer and vocal director also brings an important and dynamic ingredient to Everybody Is A Star. As the father of a young son with cerebral palsy, the mission of our foundation is always foremost in Patrick's heart.
Howard Morris
Financial Director
Mr Morris graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in business administration and finance.
He is a veteran of the music and entertainment industries with extensive experience in the day to day management and operations of record labels, distribution companies, music festivals and several medium size successful businesses.
Mr. Morris is also a caregiver and advocate for special needs youth and young adults. He is an avid supporter of the Everybody is a Star foundation and it's events since it's inception, watching many lives being touched and changed.
Mr. Morris has been a board of director and active member of Sonoma ashram foundation a 501 C-3 non profit that does educational, vocational and environmental training both in the U.S. and India
